Job Description

    As part of the Monetization team at TikTok, the SMB Growth team is focused on bringing new advertisers to the ads platform around the world. The Regional Marketing Manager is the connective tissue between our central acquisition team and all of the magic that happens in local markets around the globe. This ranges from the highest level of prioritization, targets, strategy, and tactics, to QA'ing content and ensure native-quality localization of creative. Finally, they will partner with regional sales, ops, and marketing on meaningful projects and campaigns as well as be a strong advocate for the needed support to achieve APAC's goals and objectives.
    Responsibilities
    • Develop and own the paid acquisition strategy to grow SMB advertisers within the region.
    • Execute regional paid acquisition campaigns with support from central and local teams.
    • Manage the regional acquisition budget and report results to peers, stakeholders, and leaders.
    • Launch new markets as they come online and are ready to accept advertisers.
    • Partner with the local ops and sales teams to define and implement the highest impact initiatives.
    • Ensure that messaging, and creatives are all of the highest quality and native to the market.
    • Be an advocate by educating and pushing forward the region's goals, objectives, and priorities.
    • Build processes and structures for central and regional teams to work and communicate efficiently and collectively to hit targets.
    • Work with central teams to transfer knowledge, best practices, and experiments across geographies.

Requirements

    • 8+ years of marketing experience with a strong understanding of organic and paid channels.
    • Track record of success in performance marketing, direct response, or ROAS.
    • Strong understanding of incrementality testing, media mix models, etc.
    • Experience building and managing a high performing team.
    • Comfortable navigating highly matrixed organizations.
    • Knows B2B marketing or SMB acquisition.
    • Highly quantitative and data-driven.
    • Clear and effective communicator.
